My aim is to provide you,
the provider of Life Safety Systems,
a completely new and unrivalled level of service,
backed up by my considerable experience
in the Life Safety Systems sector,
which should not only save you time,
but also money in the long term.
Having started out on an Electrical Apprenticeship on leaving school at 16, four years of practical and theoretical graft, I gained my NVQ (Level 3) Certificate of Competence in Electrical Installation (Electrician Grading).
With my hard won new found qualifications I was put straight to work by my then current employer to the running, planning and overseeing works on a section of Governmental ‘Measured Term Electrical Contract’ and a year later I received my reward of being upgraded to an Approved Electrician.
Spending a further 9 years as an hands on installation Electrician, a change in circumstances found me migrating my extensive experience and skills over and into the expanding, but a still fledgling Fire Alarm industry.
Starting out initially as an on the road Fire Alarm Engineer, undertaking the installation, commissioning and maintenance of both Conventional and the newly developing Addressable Fire Detection and Alarm Systems an opportunity opened up to become office based, undertaking the companies job pricing and estimating.
The next few years saw my role and responsibilities expanded to encompassing basic design duties for not only Fire Alarms, but Emergency Lighting systems as well.
As the years progressed and having added the utilization of Computer Aided Design to my arsenal of skills, my experience and knowledge increased further, expanding my skills exponentially from an inexperienced basic designer, to a highly thought after systems designer of bespoke and complex Life Safety Systems.
In my 36 years in both the electrical contracting and
Life Safety and more recently the security Industries,
I have always found it very hard to fathom my past employers, if they needed to utilize an external resource, why engage the services of someone whom does not have any inkling or knowledge relating to the type of service that their company actually undertakes?
'Life Safety Systems' has been setup specifically to offer not only a dedicated CAD Drafting service for the Fire & Security industry by someone, myself who has an in-depth knowledge and is fully conversant with all the current and relevant British Standards but also with all the legislative structures associated with the systems provided for the protection of life.
Being in this very unique position I can offer you a more enhanced and extremely knowledgeable level of CAD resources and service, which could not only save you time (without all that constant ‘toing and froing’ to get your drawing right), but may also save you money in the long run;

Furthermore, should you require more than a just a simple CAD Drafting facility, we can also offer you the services of a fully competent Life Safety Systems designer.
Plus; should the need arise, especially when existing building plans are not available or do not exist, we are able to also undertake Manual Measured Building Surveys for the production of ‘Floor Plan Layout’ building drawings (generally equivalent to a Semi-Connected Surveys to an accuracy of +/-25mm @ Scale 1:100 as provided and recommended in the RICS guidance notes).
We will also undertake a ‘Paper2CAD' service, the manual and hand measured transposition of old Paper Plans into a useable CAD file format?
